The IX-MB operates over Power over Ethernet (PoE), simplifying installation by eliminating the need for separate power supplies. Its network interface supports 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX Ethernet connections via RJ-45 ports, making it compatible with most existing network infrastructures. The system supports a wide array of network protocols including IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP, SIP, HTTP, HTTPS, RTSP, RTP, RTCP, IGMP, MLD, SMTP, DHCP, NTP, and DNS, ensuring robust and flexible connectivity options. This extensive protocol support allows seamless integration with various security and communication systems.
The system features a vivid 3.5-inch color LCD display for video monitoring, providing clear visuals of visitors or security personnel. The built-in camera uses a 1/4-inch color CMOS sensor with an effective view area of approximately 2 feet 2 inches vertically and 3 feet 1 inch horizontally at 20 inches distance, delivering sharp and detailed video streams. The system supports ONVIF Profile S for easy integration with third-party video management solutions. Communication options include hands-free VOX, push-to-talk simplex, or full-duplex handset operation, allowing users to select the most suitable method for their environment.
For security and access control, the IX-MB features a programmable Form C dry contact for door release, operating at 24V AC/DC with a maximum current of 500mA. Compatibility with relays such as EL-12S and RY-IP44 ensures flexible control over various types of door locks and access points. The system supports CAT-5e or CAT-6 wiring, with a reliable distance of approximately 330 feet between the door or remote station and the network node, providing flexibility in installation layouts.
