The Aiphone IX-MV7-HW-JP is a versatile and reliable network-based communication system designed for commercial environments, providing seamless video entry security, internal communication, emergency stations, and paging capabilities. Designed with flexibility in mind, the IX Series supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) using the 802.3af standard, simplifying installation by eliminating the need for separate power supplies. Its network interface supports 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connections with RJ-45 ports, and it communicates using a broad range of protocols including IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP, SIP, HTTP, HTTPS, RTSP, RTP, RTCP, IGMP, MLD, SMTP, DHCP, NTP, and DNS. This extensive protocol support ensures compatibility with various network configurations and enhances system integration.
Communication features include hands-free VOX, push-to-talk simplex, and full-duplex handset options, accommodating different user preferences and operational scenarios. The system supports multiple bandwidth options, from 24 Kbps to over 2 Mbps, allowing optimized video streaming based on network conditions. The door release function is programmable via a Form C dry contact, operating at 24V AC/DC with a 500mA current rating, and can be expanded using relays for larger contact ratings.
Installation is straightforward, with CAT-5e or CAT-6 wiring capable of reaching up to 330 feet between stations and network nodes, providing flexibility in building layouts.
