The Aiphone IXW-PBXA is a versatile and sophisticated intercom solution designed specifically for commercial environments. This intercom system leverages Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology, simplifying installation by eliminating the need for separate power supplies. The system supports 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connections with RJ-45 ports, ensuring fast and stable network connectivity. With support for both IPv4 and IPv6 protocols, the IXW-PBXA guarantees flexible integration into existing network infrastructure. Its compatibility with a range of network protocols*including TCP, UDP, SIP, HTTP, HTTPS, RTSP, and more*enables seamless communication with VoIP systems, video streaming devices, and security management platforms.
The IXW-PBXA features multiple modes of communication, including hands-free VOX, push-to-talk simplex, and full-duplex handset operation, delivering versatile interaction options suitable for various security scenarios. Its built-in camera, a 1/4-inch color CMOS sensor with a view area of approximately 2 feet 2 inches vertically by 3 feet 1 inch horizontally at 20 inches distance, provides clear video feeds to identify visitors or monitor premises. Video streaming conforms to ONVIF Profile S standards, ensuring compatibility with a broad range of video management systems.
For enhanced security, the system includes a programmable Form C dry contact for door release, supporting 24V AC/DC operation with a 500mA contact rating. Users can integrate door release mechanisms using RY-IP44 relays or larger contact relays like RY-24L, with appropriate power supplies. The system supports CAT-5e or CAT-6 wiring, with a maximum cable run of approximately 330 feet between the door station or RA station and the network node, as well as from the master station to the network node.
