The LCN 4010-18 652 Drop Plate is designed to provide a reliable mounting solution for commercial doors with narrow top rails or flush ceilings. Ideal for both interior and exterior applications, this drop plate is suitable for doors up to 5 feet wide for interior use and up to 4 feet wide for exterior use, ensuring compatibility across a range of commercial door configurations.
The 4010 series closer, which accompanies the drop plate, includes a standard arm, plastic cover, and self-reaming and tapping screws for straightforward installation. The closer is mounted hinge side, with the option to specify right or left swinging doors. It is UL and cUL listed, meeting rigorous safety standards, and tested under ANSI Standard A156.4, Grade 1, guaranteeing durability and performance. For wider or different-sized doors, the 4011 non-sized cylinder is available, adjustable for interior doors up to 4 feet 6 inches and exterior doors up to 3 feet 6 inches, with an ADA-compliant model to meet accessibility requirements.
Additional options include corner brackets, custom powder coat finishes, plated finishes on metal covers, arms, and fasteners, and an SRI primer for corrosive environments, which is available with the powder coat finish.
