The Olympus 829R-LC LC Series showcase and ratchet lock body is designed for commercial cabinet, display case, and specialty enclosure applications. This lock body accepts third-party Schlage-compatible key-in-knob or deadbolt cylinders, providing flexible cylinder selection for new installations, replacements, and facility-wide master keying. It is constructed from durable zinc alloy and engineered for dependable daily operation in commercial environments.
The 829R-LC is compatible with original and replacement Schlage cylinders, ILCO #1599, Kaba, GMS, Medeco, ASSA, and select electronic cylinder systems, including Videx, ASSA CLIQ, and Medeco Logic. The ILCO #1599 cylinder is available in 32 keyways, helping facilities match cabinet security to existing door hardware and simplify key management. Cylinders are not included, allowing you to select the configuration that best fits your security requirements.
As part of the Olympus LC Series, the 829R-LC shares a compatible platform with other lock bodies, including the 700LC door deadbolt, 800LC drawer deadbolt, 820LC cam lock, 850LC deadlatching drawer lock, and L78-LC door and drawer latch locks. The series also includes the SLT rim cylinder conversion kit for SALTO and other U.S. rim cylinders, supporting broader installation flexibility. Most LC Series models are ANSI/BHMA A156.11 Grade 1 rated, making this lock body a suitable choice for demanding commercial applications.
The Olympus 829R-LC is manufactured in Taiwan and backed by a limited one-year warranty.
