The HES 9400-613E-LBM Electric Strike is a Grade 1, heavy-duty surface-mounted electric strike designed for high-security commercial applications. Engineered by HES (ASSA ABLOY Group), this unit supports both fail-safe and fail-secure operation and is built for compatibility with rim exit devices using a 1/2" Pullman latch.
Constructed from durable stainless steel with a Dark Oxidized Bronze (613E/US10BE) finish, it delivers both strength and architectural appeal. The completely surface-mounted design requires no frame cutting, allowing for fast and efficient installation on both metal and wood frames.
This model includes a latchbolt monitor (LBM) for real-time door status monitoring, improving access control system reliability and security visibility.

The HES 9400 Series is a slim-line, outdoor-rated surface electric strike designed specifically for rim exit devices using a 1/2" Pullman latch. Its fully encased stainless steel housing (5/8" thick) provides superior durability while maintaining a clean, low-profile appearance.
Installation is simplified with a fully surface-mounted design—no frame cutting is required. The unit is placed directly onto the frame, aligned with the latchbolt, and secured in position.
A 1/8" spacer plate is included to accommodate varying door gaps, ensuring proper alignment and smooth operation.
