The PBJE is a jamb style push plate with "Push To Exit" text. BEA's Jamb Plates are specifically designed for guide rail applications, door jamb mounting or other applications where mounting space is limited.
About the BEA 10BOXJAMBST jamb surface mount box
The BEA 10BOXJAMBST is a narrow surface mount box for BEA jamb-style push plates and actuators, in black. It is for hardwired installations only.
Jamb actuators are used where there isn't room for a full-size push plate, for example on a door jamb, a guide rail or a narrow wall section beside an automatic door. The surface box lets you mount the actuator where you can't cut into the wall or jamb, and gives the wiring a protected entry.
Because it is hardwired only, plan a wired connection to the door operator or controller. For wireless activation, use a BEA transmitter and receiver kit instead.
