This is an uncut BEST key blank in the R keyway, made in the USA. BEST blanks are cut to the bitting of a BEST interchangeable core using a BEST-compatible key machine, so they are typically cut by a locksmith or the facility's key administrator.
The keyway on the blank must match the keyway of the cores in your system exactly. R is one of BEST's standard keyways; a blank from a different keyway will not enter the core.
