About the Rixson 900 armature extension base
The Rixson 900 689 is an armature extension base for Rixson 900 Series electromagnetic door holders, in aluminum painted finish (689).
Electromagnetic holders keep fire and smoke doors open and release them when the fire alarm signals. The armature (the plate on the door) must meet the magnet squarely, and an extension base moves the armature out when there is a gap between the open door and the holder.
Measure the gap at the held-open position, and confirm your holder is a Rixson 900 Series model before ordering.
